This white iron ore can be turned into a variety of splendid items in the hands of skilled craftsman. It is suffused with memories of battles fought across the land, which makes it a great material for crafting weapons.
Usage: Weapon Crafting
White Iron Chunk are used to forge craftable weapons and fine enhancement ore in the blacksmith forge. Here’s all weapons that can be crafted with this type of ore:

How to Get White Iron Chunk Part 1: Expeditions
Expedition is the easiest way to get cooking and forging material, this including White Iron Chunk and Crystal Chunk. Just by assigning character to certain location player are guaranteed to get some White Iron Chunk.
As for tips to optimize amount of material from expedition, choose 20 hours (longest) expedition time and use characters with passive to reduce amount of time by 25% as listed below:

Where to Find White Iron Chunk Part 2: Farming and Exploration
When players exploring the map of Liyue and Mondstadt, sometimes they will stumbleupon ore and other materials. To get the ore that you need, in this case White Iron Chunk. You will need character with claymore to break ore deposit.
As for other tips, if you have them bring Zhongli to easily break multiple ore deposit with his elemental skill (Dominus Lapidis) and Ningguang to detect ore deposit location in minimap with her passive (Trove of Marvelous Treasures).

Mondstadt
Stormbearer Mountains

Stone Gate
The first location is Stone Gate. It’s recommended to start from Ridge Watch domain in Mondstadt since you won’t have to climb too often unlike when you are starting from Stone Gate.
Mingyun Village And Yaoguang Shoal
Mingyun Village is an abandoned mining village located in Liyue. In this area you will find so many small mining cave full with ores. Not just White Iron Chunk, but also ores like Noctilucous Jade and Cor Lapis.
So by exploring around this place, besides farming white iron chunk you can also run your weekly 100 Liyue Local Specialities quest.
Location number 3, the one in Yaoguang Shoal is optional. You can just glide from Geo statue to the location.
Mount Aozang
I don’t really have exact route for Mt. Aozang map. Just running around to location with white iron chunk icon and you will find a lot of ores.
Southern Liyue
One spot that have the most is mining area in the left, near unreleased Chasm. That area are full with hillchurls with geo elements so be ready for a fight.
