Rifthound is the new enemy type in Inazuma which will be released in the next 2.2 update. Rifthound have wolf like appearance and bring new corrosion damage with them.
4 Types of Rifthound

 Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp | A beast with monstrous blood that is capable of eroding the boundaries of the world. “Gold” classified them as “Alfisol.” The previous eras, when giant monstrous beasts descended, large swarms of these hounds would go before them to deliquesce the borders of the world and open the way. |
 Rockfond Rifthound | A beast with monstrous blood that is capable of eroding the boundaries of the world. They were created by “Gold.” They do display certain biological behaviors similar to those of real wolves. Perhaps they feel jealousy towards these their “next of kin,” and dream of replacing them someday. |
 Thundercraven Rifthound | A beast with monstrous blood that is capable of eroding the boundaries of the world. They were created by “Gold.” Once upon a time, they ran riot across the continent, but they went extinct for a time due to resistance and mass hunts. Recently, however, they have re-emerged. The pack of black wolves that now threaten Springvale and Wolvendom are such creatures. |
Material Drops
Rifthound type enemy drop will be used for new upcoming weapon and character upgrade/ascension.

Rifthound Farming Locations
There’s some locations where you can find Rifthounds and it whelps in Tsurumi Island. Some of them will only appear when detecting player in the locations, and you might want to bring healer to counter their corossion effect.
Your first target it Rifthounds near teleport waypoint near Moshiri Ceremonial Site, after that you can go south to Wakukau Shoal.
For second route, you can start with the one near teleport waypoint in Autake Plains then follow routes to the beach.
Next is small island south of Wakukao Shoal. You can do this farming route after done with Rifthound in Wakukau Shoal. From teleport waypoint in the island, you can start from whichever spot you like.
For Shirikoro Peak area, the left one can be found easily at the beach while the right one (red circle) can be found underground right before ruin entrance.
