Crystal Core Farming Tips
When it comes to farming and catching Crystalflies, you need to be quick and able to do high jump. Because of that, it’s recommended to use tall male character like Zhongli, Diluc, Tartaglia or Kaeya.
Other than that, use 2 Anemo character in your party to get 10% movement speed from Anemo resonance. If you have Sayu, that’s even better because her passive will help to catch Crystalflies easier.
Here’s an example:
In my party, Zhongli or Kaeya will act as crystalflies catcher and sometimes Zhongli pillar will help to climb and jump even higher. Sayu and Sucrose are there for anemo resonance, with extra help from Sayu passive (Yoohoo Art: Silencer’s Secret).
Crystal Core Farming Locations
There’s so many places to visit when it comes to hunting crystalflies. But I’ve narrowed it down and only choose some spot for hunting. Here’s my usual farming spots:
Windrise, Mondstadt
In this massive oak tree, you can get 4 or 5 Crystalflies. Of course, you need to get used with all roots as obstacles when you jump and try to get crystalflies.
Dawn Winery, Mondstadt
Teleport to Statue of the Seven near Dawn Winery and get 2 or 3 crystal core in that area. After that head to Dawn Winery.
The best time to farm Crystalflies in Dawn Winery is night time so you can spot Crystalflies easier in the middle of grapevines.
Guyun Stone Forest, Liyue
Next location is Guyun Stone forest, right in front of Domain of Guyun domain. When you teleport to this area, you will find some Geo Crystalflies (about 3-5). After that, head outside and climb stairs to get the other 2.
Mt Tianheng, Liyue
The entrance of first cave located behind group of hilichurls. Defeat them, climb to the entrance then proceed to grab any crystalflies you can get.
Second location, also a cave located in the marked location. Jump inside and glide to get the crystalflies. Be careful because there’s Cryo Abyss Mage inside this cave, guarding one of Liyue Shrine of Depth.
Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Area, Liyue
First and second location, teleport to Noblesse Oblige domain then walk to designated area. In this location you will also find some Cor Lapis and other Liyue specialty.
For third location, you will find 2 crystalflies near small rock with small geo slime, continue to the next area where you will find 2 more crystalflies with 3 sleeping hilichurls.
