The Eremites Farming Routes – 200+ Eremites Enemy Location

The Eremites is common “bandit type” enemies in Genshin Impact that can be found in Sumeru and Great Red Desert region. I like to think that thay are equivalent of Treasure Hoarders in Mondstadt and Liyue or Rogue Samurai/Kairagi in Inazuma.

The Eremites hail from desert and mostly work as mercenary. As enemy, they will drop 3 type of “cloth material” that can be used to upgrade new characters hailing from Sumeru like Faruzan and Dehya, also weapon like Sapwood Blade and Forest Regalia.

Just like treasure hoarder and kairagi faction, apart from common members who deal physical damage this faction also have some elite member who will drop better tier materials but also more difficult to beat considering they have elemental power on their own.

They drop different tiers of Red Cloth based on their level. You get Faded Red Satin from level 1+ eremites, Trimmed Red Silk from Eremites Lv 40 and above, Rich Red Brocade from Eremites Lv 60 and above.

As for drop rates, it’s rng and based on your own luck. Most of the time, material will have lower drop rates when you need it the most and better rates when you don’t need it. It’s subjective, happen to me.

For Eremites farming routes, we will start from Sumeru Forestry region and this area will be split to few area for easier farming. Also, some camp have Sumpter Beast at the ready so you might blown away the moment you arrive in their camp.

Also, since they have a lot members in every camp. It’s recommended to bring anemo character who can pull enemy in 1 spot like Kazuha, Venti, or Sucrose so you can gather them in one place and defeat them quickly.

Mawtiyima Forest

For first farming route, let’s start with area northeast of Sumeru City: Mawtiyima Forest and area east of Alcazarzaray.

Farming Routes in Red Desert Area

For The Great Red Desert area, I won’t cover it with routes and red line mark. Why? Because they are everywhere. You can run around the desert without interactive mark and you will still find hundreds of them.

Whether you follow the road, walking from one teleport waypoint or another, doing random and daily quest, you will encounter them.

For example, here’s Eremites farming location from teyvat interractive map official. Look, there’s no space to draw redline, hahaha.

More Mobs for Material?

If you still need some more, for extra eremites you can go ahead and start fight by activating leyline for mora or for exp book. You can try these leyline one by one until you can mark which one have eremites and which one have other monsters like fungi.

Other options is by farming in your friend world. Just apply to anyone and if you are lucky, you will get the whole map for yourself. More for specific farming routes, you can head to teyvat interactive map page via this link.

Good luck with your farming!
