This crystal was eroded by the energy of the Ley Lines and cannot be processed by the ordinary means. Original Resin can, however, refine it into an invaluable material.
Usage
Unlike other forging material like Crystal Chunk, White Iron Chunk, and Starsilver. Magical Crystal Chunk are not used to forge craftable weapons.
For now, Magical Crystal Chunk only usable to craft Mystic Enhancement Material.
But in the forging table you will need original resin to process it. It may sound useless since most player prefer to use their resin for other things like running Leylines, weekly bosses, elite bosses, or domain run.
But this option is useful for player who don’t have much time to play and didn’t want to waste their original resin.
Let’s say, someone can only play at night after work so in the morning he will login to Genshin Impact and use his original resin to forge Mystic Enhancement Material, assuming he already hit 3 condensed resin limit.
His original resin will regenerates and can be used after work.
How to Get Magical Crystal Chunk?
Just like any other ores, you can find Magical Crystal Chunk in the wild. But the most reliable way to get exact location is by asking NPC blacksmith in the city. There’s 3 blackmith that I usually ask: Wagner, blackmith from Mondsadt and Master Zhang, blacksmith from Liyue Harbor, and Hajime the blacksmith from Inazuma city.
It won’t be too hard to spot them because they’re located pretty close to Katheryne of Adventurer Guild and there’s blacksmith mark on top of their head.
After you find them, you can just ask them for Mining Product tips to find ore of respective region.
And then the window will popped out and showing location of magical crystal chunks deposit.
And then you can just visit the location and farm the ore as usual.
The location can vary from one place to another so it’s really recommended to ask the blacksmith first.
