A Dragontooth that has absorbed vitality and now exudes a warmth that-makes one uneasy. Once upon a time, a dragon fell to ruin in a silver valley, painting the bone-white snow an ominous crimson. This crimson symbolizes the might of this dragon.

How to Get Vitalized Dragontooth?
During your exploration in Dragonspine, you might find item called Strange Tooth. When you picked up Strange Tooth, new quest: Festering Fang will appear in your journal.
In this quest, you’ll need to collect 4 strange tooth and fill it with vitality from dragon core which is located at Wyrmrest Valley in Dragonspine. The result of extraction process is Vitalized Dragontooth which can be used to craft Dragonspine Spear.
Here’s all 4 locations of Strange Tooth in Dragonspine:
Location No.1
Located near Fatui Skirmisher Pyroslinger, you can either defeat him before collectiong Strange Tooth or just collect and then run.
Location No. 2
Located in small island, guarded by Cryo Abyss Mage and Hydro Abyss Mage. For easier fight, defeat Cryo Abyss Mage first before getting close to strange tooth location.
After defeating first abyss mage, get close to strange tooth spot and second abyss mage will appear.
Location No. 3
If it’s your first time coming to this location (during quest), you will have to fight Mitachurl before collection strange tooth.
This area sorrounded by storm which accelerate sheer cold on your character so be careful.
Location No. 4
Located inside the cave in Wyrmrest Valley, no fight required. Collect and go deeper to the cave, this is your 4th strange tooth.
Extracting Vitality From Dragon Core
If you are doing Festering Fang quest, you will have to fight before interracting with Dragon Core. The opponents is bunch of Fatui Skirmishers so it’s recommended to bring their counter element, and shield if you have one.
After fight, go interract with Dragon Core to extract vitality and you will finally obtain Vitalized Dragontooth.
