A Strange Story in Konda is first part of Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual. Next quest is Sacrificial Offering
To start this quest, talk to Shrine Maiden who is standing in front of Fox statue. You can find her near the waypoint near the beach, between Konda and Ritou
A Strange Story in Konda Quest Walkthrough
Talk to the Shrine Maiden.
Find the shrine maiden and talk to her in the marked location in the map.
Hit the Fox Statue with an Electro Attack and talk to the Shrine Maiden.
Hit the fox statue with electro elemental attack like, any Electro character will do. Then you will obtain Ward Item.
Talk to Shrine Maiden Again
Talk to Kazari, the Shrine Maiden and she will have request for you. After that, go to Konda Village.
Talk to Saimon Eri by Tomato Plants
She will then give you some information including 3 new marked locations.
Investigate 3 Marked Locations
Go to designated locations and investigate the marked location.
- From Dried-Up Well behind Konda Chief house, you will obtain Purse by the Dried-Up Well.
- From “floating bags” in the water, you will obtain Cargo Bag Fished Out From Water.
- From broken cart surrounded by hilichurls, you will obtain Ragged List of Goods.
Talk to Konda Densuke The Village Chief and Cut a Deal With Him
Confront Konda Densuke and show all 3 evidences to him. He will then tell you the truth, about how he try to cover things up to protect Konda Village name.
He will also tell you about his diary in the rooftop.
Climb to the rooftop and obtain The Village Chief Diary
You can find his diary in the bird nest. By the diary, he explain the incident and where he hide the rest of the goods and coins from the incident.
Head over to the designated area recorded in the notebook
Head over to the area to obtain Old Well Key, there’s some enemy so get ready for a fight.
Enter The Well and Explore The Whole Area
Enter the well behind Village Chief house using Old Well Key. In this area you can find some chest and 1 Electroculus, locked by this quest.

Pass The Electro Barrier
To pass this barrier, obtain Electrogranum in the area.
Enter The Underground Shrine and Solve The Puzzle
Use your Ward here and then you will find Mysterious Guiding Line in the shrine.
After using ward, you will find adjustment option in those 5 spot of the shrine. Adjust them with number just like in image below:
After you adjust it correctly, pray to the number 1 spot. The enemy: Ochimusha, Phantom Warrior Beneath the Konda Village Well will appear, defeat him.
Talk to Kazari The Shrine Maiden
After defeating Ochimusha, Kazari will appear and tell you about cleansing and some other spots need cleansing. Quest done and you will get your rewards.
Electroculus Locked by A Strange Story in Konda?

First Electroculus, can be found on your way to the shrine
Second Electroculus, Located in the room which can be acessed from inside the shrine.
Recommended to do after you’ve done with A Strange Story in Konda quest. From inside the shrine, look around for Electrogranum, you will also find room locked by barrier.
Use Electrogranum to pass the barrier.
Look above your head and you will find your second Electroculus.
Worn-Out Key for Electroculus in Chinjuu Forest Lake
In this room, you can also find Worn-Out Key which can be used to acess Electroculus in the abandoned shrine near Chinjuu Forest.
There’s also item called Old Stone Slate although I don’t know what it will be used for. Will be updated later.
Quest done, continue to next cleansing quest: Sacrificial Offering.
