When running around in Chasm Underground Mine you might find some strange rock, easily recognizable as trilobite fossil with “taking photo” options on it.
This fossil or strange rock is actually part of world quest: Paleontological Investigation in The Chasm, given by Khedive later in the Chasm Exploration Team second camp. There’s 5 photo of this fossil or stange rock required for this quest.
Fossil 1
You can reach first fossil by teleporting to waypoint in The Chasm Main Mining Area, then walk north to the tunnel, passing a bridge.

Second fossil can be found at area with some treasure hoarders members.

Fossil 3
Third fossil located high above, you can reach it using Anemo Monument to trigger wind current. Then, glide up and accelerate through the acceleration rings until you reach natural bridge with some chest in it.

Teleport to waypoint in Underground Waterway then walk south until you find area with 3 (or was it 4?) hilichurls.

You can reach fifth fossil by walking east from The Glowing Narrows teleport waypoint or other nearby waypoint.

Claim Your Rewards
After obtaining all photos, you can go back to Khedive in the camp and submit your fossil photos.
